Abbreviations : Cast off = Bind off - Inc = increase - K = Knit - K2tog = Knit 2 stitches together - P = Purl - Psso = Pass slip stitch over knitted stitch - R = row or round - Sc = Single crochet (or double crochet) - Sk2p = Slip 1, knit 2 together , pass slip stitch over knit stitch - Skpo = Slip, knit, pass over - Sl st = slip stitch / chain - St(s) = Stitch(es) - St-st = stocking stitch - Yo = yarn over

Materials : 25 gr of wool Layette plus by Plassard, color Green – 25 gr of Cotton Babylo 20 by DMC, color Ecru – Knitting needles 2 mm – Hook 2 mm – 10 cm x 10 cm of green Liberty fabric – Stuffing.

Gauge : 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (4’’ x 4’’) for Layette Plus

Hammock : With the hook, chain 32 sl st, color Ecru.
R 1 : Work 1 sc in each sl st = 30 sc. To finish by sl st, turn of the work.
R 2 : *Work 3 sl st, skip 2 sc, work 1 sc in the next sc*, repeat from **. To finish by 1 sl st, turn your work.
R 3 : Work 2 sl st, skip 1 sc, work 1 sc in the next sc, *Work 3 sl st, skip 2 sc, work 1 sc in the next sc*, repeat from **. To finish by 1 sc in the next sc, 1 sl st, turn your work.
Always repeat these last 2 rounds.
R 36 : At 14 cm to totale height : Work 1 sc in each sl st = 30 sc. Stop the work.

To make up : Lightly iron your work. Weave in yarn ends. Cut 2 lengths of cotton of 50 cm. Fold them of them 2 and with a tapestry needle, pass in at each end of the hammock and tighten the ends.

Blanket : Cast on 13 sts, color Green, knitting needles 2 mm.
R 1 : K6, yo, K1, yo, K6 = 15 sts.
R 2 and all the rows even : Purl row.
R 3 : K7, yo, K1, yo, K7 = 17 sts.
R 5 : K8, yo, K1, yo, K8 = 19 sts.
R 7 : K9, yo, K1, yo, K9 = 21 sts.
R 9 : K10, yo, K1, yo, K10 = 23 sts.
R 11 : K11, yo, K1, yo, K11 = 25 sts.
R 13 - R 16 : St-st 4 rows.
R 17 : Psso, K21, K2tog = 23 sts.
R 19 : Psso, K19, K2tog = 21 sts.
R 21 : Psso, K17, K2tog = 19 sts.
R 23 : Psso, K15, K2tog = 17 sts.
R 25 : Psso, K13, K2tog = 15 sts.

Sew them together around, while leaving an opening of 3 cm. Turn over them on right and slip a little stuffin inside. Close the opening by some invisible points.

 

Pillow : Cast on 9 sts, col. Green, knitting needles 2 mm.
R 1 : K4, yo, K1, yo, K4 = 11 sts.
R 2 and all the rows even : Purl row.
R 3 : K5, yo, K1, yo, K5 = 13 sts.
R 5 : K6, yo, K1, yo, K6 = 15 sts.
R 7 : K7, yo, K1, yo, K7 = 17 sts.
R 9 – R 14 : St-st 6 rows.
R 15 : Psso, K13, K2tog = 15 sts.
R 17 : Psso, K11, K2tog = 13 sts.
R 19 : Psso, K9, K2tog = 11 sts.
R 20 : Psso, P7, K2tog = 9 sts.
R 21 : Psso, K5, K2tog = 7 sts.
